Amanda Marshall - I Believe In You (music video)

I wanted to do my first video on a Canadian singer or group but I had a tough time thinking of 'the one'. Have some videos added to a playlist on YouTube, so in amongst perusing them, I saw I have 'saved' this one from Amanda Marshall. Now this lady has a strong and powerful voice. And as much as I'm not a big fan of female singers, Amanda's voice and songs keep me a fan.

A quiz for know-it-alls haha

As much as I don't 'blog' my emails (just a time or two before at that other place), I thought this was kind of interesting.  And I hate to admit it, I goofed on a few answers.  And go figure, at the end of the email, it said something about Mental Health Day ... guess I need a checkup.  I'm not going to give away the answers just yet.  I want to see if anybody that responds to this is going with me to the clinic hahahahaha

This is a quiz for people who know everything! LOL

These are not trick questions. They are straight questions with straight answers

1. Name the one sport in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends.

2. What famous North American landmark is constantly moving backward?

3. Of all vegetables, only two can live to produce on their own for several growing seasons. All other vegetables must be replanted every year. What are the only two perennial vegetables?

4. What fruit has its seeds on the outside?

5. In many liquor stores, you can buy pear brandy, with a real pear inside the bottle. The pear is whole and ripe, and the bottle is genuine; it hasn't been cut in any way. How did the pear get inside the bottle?

6. Only three words in standard English begin with the letters '  dw' and they are all common words. Name two of them.

7. There are 14 punctuation marks in English grammar. Can you name at least half of them?

8.  Name the only vegetable or fruit that is never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form except fresh.

9. Name 6 or more things that you can wear on your feet beginning with the letter  'S.'

Let's review ...

I know I am a little early with this, but figured I better do it before I forgot.  It's a look back at the year I had.  Been a very interesting and frustrating one, to say the least.  But rather than ramble on about everything, I just took a noteworthy event from each month and compiled this list.  Think I'll call it .....

A Blonde's Year In Review

January - Took new scarf back to store because it was too tight.

February - Fired from pharmacy job for failing to print labels ... HELLOOOO!! ... bottles won't fit in the printer !

March - Got really excited ... finished jigsaw puzzle in 6 months ... box said "2-4 years!"

April - Trapped on escalator for hours ... power went out !!

May - Tried to make Kool-Aid .. wrong instructions ... 8 cups of water won't fit into those little packets !!!

June - Tried to go water skiing ... couldn't find a lake with a slope.

July - Lost breast stroke swimming competition ... learned later, the other swimmers cheated ...they used their arms !!!

August - Got locked out of my car in a rain storm ... car swamped because soft-top was open.

September - The capital of California is "C" ... isn't it ??

October - Hate M & M's ... they are so hard to peel.

November - Baked turkey for 4 1/2 days .. instructions said 1 hour per pound and I weigh 108 !!!

December - Couldn't call 911 ... there's no 'eleven' button on the stupid phone !!!

hahahaha Ok, so you know by now I was only kidding about it being my year in review ... don't you ????  One of the guys at bowling (a sweet and funny 80 year old) got this in an email and printed me off a copy. Yes, I was the only blonde he gave it to, but he shared with the brunettes too hahaha.

I had a good chuckle over it, so thought I would share.

My apologies to the blondes that experienced these.

hahahahaha

You know me, I had to try it

Here I am, sitting drinking my second coffee of the day when I sign into multiply.  I turned off the email alerts for the group postings and now get not much in the way of email.  So, I had to go to My Multiply page to make sure it was really true that the groups had been so quiet over night or if it was just one of those delays going from Multiply into my inbox.

Nope, not much group activity seen there either. But it did figure tho'.  When I had the email alerts for the groups turned on, the groups seem to be really, really busy.  Turn them off and everybody goes on holidays or something hahahaha

Debated about whether to turn on the alerts again, so went into settings.  Decided nawwwwww and noticed the one option about the posting by email.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Ok, let's check it out and see how to set it up and all
that.

So here I am at my email account about to test it.  Question is, what do I ramble on about to test it ???

Sure, I get gabby when I don't think about being gabby.  When it comes to being gabby on purpose, my mind goes blank. hahahaha

But I must say, the more I get curious about something available on Multiply, I do get to like it more and more compared to the 'not multiply' site I have 5 of.  Yes, I am too curious for my own good by playing around with the nicknames.  And of course, the nicknames had to have a 360 page hahaha.  That part I will miss.

But this whole Multiply experience has been a very positive experience so far, and have met a couple new friends lately, Jt and Sunny.  And dare I say it ?? I might even say they're as quirky as I am !!! hahahaha
