They like me, they really like me !!! hahahaha

I feel so honoured today.  And being one to not criticize a particular business while using anothers', I won't say who has so graciously honoured me this morning when I had awakened and started my day.

It was just one of those things.  You sign into your email account(s) and check to see if anything came through during the night while you were in zzzzzzzz land.

There I was, barely awake, with a cup of tea in front of me, eyes seeing clearly but maybe not the mind so much haha when I signed into an account I have and use more for business related things, but is attached to a particular free website I use for posting pictures, blogging songs, connecting to friends, when this particular company wanted an alternate email other than theirs in their account settings.

And what is the first thing I see when the page loads up??

Why, it's an email from these people.  I thought wow, they sent me an email.

Was it a 'please don't go, we want you to stay' email??

Ha, as if they would do that.

I felt very honoured today, joining the list of thousands of users of this product, as long as I have been, to have received my very first

 

 

and I mean my very first

 

 

VIOLATION NOTICE !!!!!!

I would like to thank the academy ... the judges ... the movie-goers ... the music lovers (whatever way any award show winners are determined haha) ... this company and the person that reported me for this wonderful award.  I am deeply honoured, and humbled.

Of course, they don't tell you what you did wrong.  They only tell you to review their TOS and fix it.  And the email also said that if I come to their attention again, I could lose my account as it will be deleted.

Now, I am left with the dilemma of what it was I was reported for.

An offensive picture ?? (which one?)

Blog content ?? (somebody doesn't like my taste in music?)

Maybe my background hurt their eyes??

Who knows? Cuz I sure don't know.

But considering this company will be closing down that particular product, I'm not going to fix it. How can I fix something when I don't know what part of it is broken ??? And to me, it isn't worth fretting over by going into the TOS and deciphering it all to figure out where I erred.

But yeah, I thought it was funny this morning and had a real good chuckle over that email.

Just when you think they really don't care, they send an email and let you know how much they like you

Ok, it's not so bad ...

I might even like it !!!

The one thing that has impressed me with this site is it has the one thing that many 360 users were begging for ....

THE ABILITY TO UPLOAD MUSIC ON THEIR 360S, IN SOMEPLACE OTHER THAN IN THEIR BLOGS

So, other than beginning with a background, a quirky welcome message (which I've since expanded on haha) and the original testing of the blog waters, I uploaded music !!!

How cool is that ??? !!!! Woohoo 

I can even irritate a visitor by putting a player of sorts in my welcome message and make the music play as soon as my page loads up for you.  Sorry to do that, but I do know from past experience that not everybody would click on a player to hear the song.  Check out the page, maybe leave a comment, and off they go on their merry way.  The only thing I can suggest it to either hit the pause button or take off your headphone/mute or lower your sound for a minute or two.

Sorry, but music and the words in the songs can mean a lot to me and I'd rather listen to music 12 hours a day than watch TV for 2 hours.  I can only hope that the songs I pick out (and they'll change from time to time possibly) won't be too offensive to you and with any luck, you might like the song you hear.

One thing I am wondering about, with what I mentioned earlier ... will Yahoo's new experiment (and yes, they do seem to be experiments or in beta stage - even if that stage lasts a couple years or so haha) allow it's users to the new profile the ability to upload music??

Sometimes I really wonder who exactly yahoo is listening to when they come up with stuff, but reading the rants and raves in various spots, it sure doesn't seem like it's any of us !!! hahaha

 

Curiosity killing the cat here

This is what I'm like .... I received an email from a 360 friend that had started a Multiply page and thought to invite me to join up and be a contact.  As she says 'because 360 is closing".  News to me.  I must have missed something, but I sure hope not.  Will have to check it out.

Anyways, me being me, my curiosity had been piqued and I had to come and see what her latest find was all about.  Seems like a few of us had tried the Mush/mash thing and it didn't go over well.  At least, I didn't care for it a whole lot.

So far, it isn't too bad, but I haven't exactly finished playing with it yet.  Give me time

Oh coool ... smiley's hahaha  Definitely something different.

Anyways, while the jury is still out on this at the moment, I'll see what I can do with it.
